• Co-founder with Keith of Invention Asylum, a product development and think tank firm founded in 2003, whose experiences and business challenges of inventing as a profession contribute to every issue of inventionDIY!. • In 1995, Kyle co-founded online marketing firm AGENCY.COM with Chan Suh. At its peak, AGENCY.COM had annual revenues of more than $200 million, 2000+ employees and offices in the US, Europe and Asia. • Kyle’s successful entrepreneurial track record also includes: founding New Voice Theatre Company in NYC; founding the non-profit organization the World Wide Web Artists Consortium; co-creating the first online art & culture magazine, Urban Desires; and writing or co-writing seven feature screenplays including the recently optioned "Amazombies!" • Kyle received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in performance from Penn State University in 1987. Kyle and family moved to South Salem, NY to polarize the "suburbanites". Neat factoid: Kyle has twins.

• Co-founder with Kyle of Invention Asylum, a product development and think tank firm with Kyle founded in 2003, who likewise experienced the many challenges of starting an invention business. • Keith is an architect, who co-founded Skyline Architects and Designers with Victor Cacioppo, won many Interior Design recognition awards and whose work has been published in multiple trade magazines for high-end retail and commercial interiors, as well as transportation and residential projects. • After closing his practice, Keith joined Citibank, NA as Senior Project Manager and became a top Regional Space Planner. Subsequently, he became Director of Operations for Citibank’s Portfolio & Occupancy Management Group. • Keith was then recruited to manage and oversee nationwide commercial real estate transactions for General Electric Capital’s Card Services. Keith earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University after receiving an Associates degree in Architectural Technology from Alfred State College in New York. Keith and his family continue to live in South Salem, NY - even after Kyle moved into the neighborhood. Neat factoid: Keith has twins too and that's how they met.

• Pennsy born Jersey girl, Karla takes on the role of Managing Editor here at inventionDIY! With a career history as wide as a truck, spanning Dove Soap Plant Engineer in Germany (ja ja) to Importer of totally hot lingerie from Brazil, KC feels right at home in the Asylum. • In the early days after graduating from Fordham, with a degree in Chemistry, and Columbia, with another degree in Chemical Engineering, Karla found herself in the corporate R&D environs of Unilever. With a sort of inventive streak of her own, she went on to obtain a number of patents relating to improvements in human hygiene and reduction of facial wrinkles. • More recently she broke out on her own and runs a competitive information consultancy. Karla lives in Ramsey, NJ with her wonderful and supportive husband (who owns California WineWorks, a custom winemaking facility), and 2 kids. Don't be shy - make some wine with the best (Karla doesn't know about this plug and had nothing to do with it). Neat factoid: Karla almost got a part in Napolean Dynamite - that's her head shot!... LUCKY!
